Since the operation I have been symptom free and enjoying

In 2014 Prof Senapati carried out a Laparoscopic Toupee fundoplication on me in an effort to improve my quality of life. Having struggled with reflux and heartburn for many years, and having used every available drug to try and combat this condition I met with Prof Senapati at Rochdale to discuss my options.

Prof Senapati talked me through in a very straight forward and re-assuring way the processes involved and when it came to analysing and testing me for the information he needed prior to surgery, it was seamless. The operation itself went perfectly and I was back at work after a few days, helped by the fact it was carried out through key hole surgery. Prof Senapati gave me excellent advice post operation on how long before I could introduce certain foods, which also had the added benefit of losing over a stone and for the last year and a half since the operation I have been symptom free and enjoying (within reason) all the foods I used to enjoy prior to getting this condition. The only downside is that I have put the stone back on!

I would certainly recommended Prof Senapati and his team, he is one of the best specialists I have met and his patient care and wellbeing is second to none.
