National Conference on Obesity and Diabetes at Salford Royal Hospital – A Great Success!

On October 4th, 2024, Professor Siba Senapati successfully organized the “Impact of Obesity on Health: Strategies to Tackle Obesity and Diabetes” at Salford Royal Hospital. Endorsed by the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society and other prominent organizations, this hybrid conference brought together some of the leading voices in the field of obesity and diabetes management.

The event saw 65 delegates attending in person, with an additional 25 participating via webinar. Across three well-structured sessions, top experts explored various obesity-associated conditions, with discussions covering The Impact of Obesity on Health, Current Advances in the Management of Obesity, and the Patient Experience and Vision for the Future.

Delegates praised the relevance and depth of the topics, noting the conference’s role in providing the latest updates on tackling this major health issue.
