I’d spent 20+ years dieting, going to numerous slimming clubs and failing every time. After researching weigh loss treatments I found Prof Senapati and was impressed with the results of his other patients. The meeting was really relaxed, he answered all my questions honestly and I was so impressed I booked my date for a gastric sleeve there and then.

Two weeks later I was there, preped for surgery and everyone was so lovely, I felt so at ease and knew I was making the right decision. I walked in there at 17 stone 5lbs and just over 2 years later maintaining at 11 stone 5lbs exactly 6 stone gone.

It was hard at first, my life had revolved around large amounts of fast food so the change for me was huge, I still craved take aways but in time I realised that I could still have treats just not as much.

My life has changed so much, people actually talk to me on nights out and I have the occasional door held open for me. I’m more happy and approachable, I’m more confident in myself and I don’t avoid the camera as much anymore.
