I had the gastric sleeve in December 2021. I have lost 8 stone so far. I have managed to reverse my diabetes when I was taking 120 units of insulin before surgery. My quality of life is so much more now.

Prof Senapati was amazing. He is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the different surgeries, I was immediately put at ease talking to him, and he quelled my mums fears about the surgery. I’d do it all again in a heart beat the experience was so good. I had minimal pain from the surgery and have 4 tiny 2 inch scars that have almost faded completely now. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Prof to anyone looking at weight loss surgery. His team were amazing. Mr Ibrahim the anaesthetist was super. He was incredibly funny and put me at ease right before I went into surgery. The nurses were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and the room I stayed in at The Alex was lovely. I had my own bed, TV and En-suite, and when I was in surgery the room was locked to keep my things safe. This was a great service from start to finish. Thank you!
