It is the best decision anyone can make!

Hello,
I was nearly 28st pre op, I had lost over a stone for the LRD and now I am nearly 8st lighter in only 7 months. The after care at the hospital was great, the Nurses got me up walking straight away and eating (which was great). I was pre-diabetic, I had asthma, I could hardly walk down the street and my knee dislocates because of the weight of my body. I am now in a gym strengthening my knee, it hasn’t popped out for a while now. I am not longer asthmatic or pre diabetic. I feel healthier and like I have a whole new life. What’s great is the support around me, my friends, my family and my work colleagues are always spurring me on which keeps me on track. I have joined slimming world, this is just mainly so I can keep myself and my weight on track, they all know I have had WL surgery and they are really supportive of this. Now the downsides to the surgery, I have struggled to take multivitamins due to being physically sick, this is because the vitamins are too strong for my pouch (stomach), best advice is to try lots of different ones to see what you settle with, I haven’t found the right one yet, but I won’t give up trying. Not being able to just ‘stuff your face’ because you get physically sick, not drinking and eating as this has been the norm for as long as you have been eating and drinking, I have done this too many times where I have forgotten about my tool and drank straight after eating, big mistake. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t thank the gods for this tool and thank Prof Senapati for saving my life.
