I had the gastric bypass surgery in July 2022 which makes it nearly 2 years ago. I have gone from wearing a size 24 to a 14-16 and have lost 6 and a half stone. I feel so much better in myself like I actually have a life now! I am able to do everyday tasks without getting out of breath, I feel more energised but the biggest bonus is I get to do things with my children which I never did before. I can’t wait for summer as I will be going to Blackpool & knowing I will fit on a ride is exciting! The care I received from Prof Senapati and his team before, during and after my surgery has been amazing and I can’t thank them enough for giving me my life back.
