I had my surgery 5 months ago. I have lost 6 st in weight and feel amazing. It has changed my life and my family’s life. I have not needed to use crutches since before Christmas and my mental health has improved 10 fold. My only regret is that I didn’t have this surgery sooner.

The Alex, in Cheshire, is a fabulous hospital and couldn’t do enough for me. They even gave my children ice cream when they came to visit me.

As for ‘The Prof’ Prof. Senapati. He is one of the top surgeons in his field and what he doesn’t know about bariatric surgery, doesn’t need knowing. He was warm, friendly, put me at ease immediately, and his sense of humour is fantastic.

I would recommend him and The Alex to anybody.
