All I can say is if you are considering surgery because you have struggled for years like i did, but you are on the fence, JUST DO IT!!

I have lost 62kg.

My waist size from 54 inch to 36 inch waist

I have suffered with type 2 diabetes , sleep apneoa , high blood pressure, painful knees, tiredness and general lathargicness. – these have now all GONE , no more medication for diabetes , no more mask for sleep apneoa , no more medication for blood pressure, lower doses of other meds no more sore knees either. I am much more active now. I cant sit around for hours like i used to I have got to be doing things. I am now living life not just existing!! im walking lots , cycling, training more (thai boxing) parachute jumping, motorcycling and just anything i fancy doing i now just DO IT!

I emailed the consultant’s secretary on the Thursday evening i was called the following day with an appointment for the Monday and was in surgery 19 days later!

Surgery went perfectly , no pain, no complications. i was back at work the day i was discharged (against advice), i was back in the gym after 3 weeks, I was eating normal food after 4 weeks (with caution), my sex life is lot better (but dont tell my Mrs haha, only kidding) Life in general is just better.

All I can say is if you are considering surgery because you have struggled for years like i did, but you are on the fence, JUST DO IT!! it will change your life for ever.
